About Team Marketing

Team Marketing promotes Campus Recreation programs and services on social media, the web, the app, and in person through student experiences and events. 

​

With a team primarily composed of students, our goal is to bring awareness to Campus Recreation programs and services in a relatable, educational, and entertaining way.

​

Responsibilities include the Campus Recreation website, Be Well blog, social media, the Campus Recreation app, digital signage, and developing and producing large-scale student events. 

Be Well Blog

Be Well is an online blogazine written for students, by students to entertain and inform the Auburn University community about all things health and wellness. Topics include sports, fitness, wellness, outdoor and campus life.

Need to shoot photography or video in a Campus Recreation facility? Want to team up for a photoshoot? Contact us at campusrec@auburn.edu and we'll assist with logistics, talent, and scheduling.

Write for the blog, shoot photography and video, and produce social media content for more than 25,000 followers! Student employees get real-world experience outside of the classroom, improve marketing skills, and become "job ready."

Prepare photography for use in social media, print, digital signage, and the web. May schedule, plan, shoot and edit editorial photography for the Campus Recreation health and wellness blog, bewellauburn.com. May train/mentor other photographers.

Produce and edit videos for promotion, social media, digital signage, and the web.

 

Write scripts, coordinate talent, schedule video shoots, and present final work for approval. Regular assignments include Get RECognized, REConnect with the Rec, 'Round The Rec and various promotional videos and special projects as assigned. May train/mentor other videographers.

We work with our programs to produce events like Get Rec'd, Yoga Rave, Champ Nights, Polar Plunge, Splash Bash, Auburn Ascent, and more. Team Marketing also represents Campus Rec at Camp War Eagle, SOS, Talons Days, and various partner events on campus.
