Group fitness classes provide a high-energy workout experience that is perfect for all skill levels. Offering countless classes each week in various formats. Classes range from cycling, cardio, strength, yoga, pilates, and barre.

The Class Pass is sold under "Passes and Memberships" on RWC Connect. Countless classes per week,
in multiple formats are available to passholders.

Learn a part-time skill and become a champion of health and wellness on Auburn's campus by teaching group fitness classes.  

Who:

Any member interested in becoming a group fitness instructor (open to all students, faculty, and staff). No experience necessary!

 

What:

A professional development opportunity. Learn what it takes to be a group fitness instructor.

How:

Get prepared to take the AFAA Group Fitness Instructor certification exam.

How to Register 

Two ways to register: 

  1. Click on the group fitness schedule on our website or access it through the Recreation and Wellness app.

  2. Log in with your Auburn credentials using the "Authenticate" option.

  3. Navigate to the Group Fitness icon, then to "Group Fit Classes"

  4. Select the class you want to register for. 

  5. Complete the registration.

Fall Into Fitness

This one's for the ghouls! Attend group fitness classes in October to earn weekly treats, a fang-tastic t-shirt, and a shot at one of three grand prizes. Show up, sweat it out, and scare up some serious stamina! It's spooky season around here, and it's good for the bones! 

Pump Up Your Heart

An annual event that promotes social fitness and a healthy lifestyle by offering a friendly and fun competition during the month of February. Participate to win

t-shirts and prizes weekly, along with grand prizes at the conclusion

of the event.

Demo Days

Occurring the first two weeks of the Spring and fall semesters, Group Fitness hosts free classes in all formats where members "try before they buy." All classes during Demo Days are free and no Class Pass is required.
