July 12, 2 - 3:15 p.m. Registration on RWC Connect: May 16 - July 11 Cost: FREE Backpacking Basics is designed for those new to backpacking or experienced backpackers looking to level up their skills. Are you tired of eating ramen or instant mashed potatoes on trail? Do you want to learn how to pack nutrient-dense foods that will fuel your toughest adventures? Join us at Auburn Outdoors to learn how to use a backpacking stove and how to plan your meals for your next backpacking adventure. You'll cook a backpacking meal and take home a scrumptious snack! If you are unable to attend the workshop after registration, please cancel online up to 4 hours in advance of the workshop. If you must cancel within 4 hours of the program, please communicate with auburnoutdoors@auburn.edu. Failure to communicate in advance will result in a $10 no-show fee.
