Students Reach for the Summit in AO’s El Capitan Climbing Challenge

Auburn Students reached new heights with Auburn Outdoors during the annual Climbing Challenge. Every year is a new height goal based on different mountains around the world During the 2 weeks of October 13th - 26th, climbers logged their climbs in order to reach this year's goal of 3,000 feet, the height of the famous El Capitan located in Yosemite National Park, California.


Over the duration of the challenge, anyone who logged their climbs and reached the goal, received a free t-shirt. Additionally, the male and female who climbed the highest elevation had their names engraved on the Auburn Outdoors Climbing Challenge plaque on wall by the climbing wall desk.
