From swamp canoe camping at Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge, to rock climbing at Foster Falls and Cherokee Rock Village, mountain biking at Standing Boy Mountain, hikes in Chewacla State Park and around Lake Martin, backpacking in Conecuh National Forest, skiing in North Carolina, and ice skating and rival whitewater rafting in Montgomery, Auburn Outdoors has completed all adventures for the 2024-2025 school year.
In the same way, Auburn Outdoors has hosted numerous workshops such as Lead Climbing, Backcountry Cuisine, Fundamentals of Rock Climbing and setting a rock wall, How to Fix a Flat, How to Tie a Fly, Crate Stacking, and many more.
Across all events, Auburn Outdoors has guided roughly 200 students in their outdoor excursions and taught well over 1,000 students in workshops over the coarse of the 2024-2025 academic year.
But for Auburn Outdoors, its more than a number. It's about teaching students and getting them outside to touch grass and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature.
Don't worry if you missed out on a trip or a workshop in the past, because Auburn Outdoors isn't going away! Attend these workshops, trips, and more as Auburn Outdoors is aiming for bigger and better in the future.
