Half of the Semester Means Half of the Adventures

We are halfway through the semester which means we are halfway through another semester of Auburn Outdoor Trips! AO led students on trips all across the southeast of America, all of which are listed below!


  • During Labor Day weekend, from August 30th to September 1st, students spent the days ziplining through the forests and river rafting the rapids of Nantahala river in Asheville, North Carolina.

  • On September 3rd, students took a day hike in Chewacla State Park located right in Auburn's backyard.

  • On September 18th, women paddled the calm waters of Lake Martin as they watched the sunset.

  • On September 20th, students on the Gravel and Grounds Trip cycled a 20-mile gravel path through the forests of Waverly, AL.

  • Marking the midway point of AO trips, on Fall Break, students spent the weekend rock climbing at Mammoth Cave National Park, Kentucky.
