Auburn students didn't need to travel too far for adventure since there is so much to do right here in Auburn's backyard! Auburn Outdoors led 10 students on a free trip to Chewacla State Park for the afternoon of April 3rd. The group hiked 2 miles surrounded by the beauty of nature, forest critters, and a waterfall, and even have time for a snack! The trip ended with the group watching the sun set together and enjoying each others company as they headed back home.
The horizon line of Chewacla State Park of distant mountains covered in trees. A bubbling stream in Chewacla State Park. A rushing stream in Chewacla State Park.
