The best way to learn is through experience. With this mindset, on November 7th, Auburn Outdoors led a group of beginner rock climbers on a trip specifically designed for participants climbing outside for the first time.
Students learned the essential climbing techniques, safety procedures, and proper use of equipment when rock climbing. Students travelled nearly three hours to climb the rocky cliff sides of Sandrock, Alabama and came back with new knowledge and new friends.
