About the event
Give an old climbing rope a second life at Gear to Garment, a hands-on workshop where you'll sew your own custom belt from repurposed outdoor gear. Learn the basics of sewing materials, explore sustainable gear practices, and leave with a unique piece you can wear every day. No sewing experience needed; all materials and tools are provided. If you are unable to attend the workshop after registration, please cancel online up to 4 hours in advance. If you must cancel within 4 hours of the program, please communicate with auburnoutdoors@auburn.edu.
