Strength Competition

Cost: $10 per exercise competition, or $25 to do all 3

Week 1 - Squat

Week 2 - Bench

Week 3 - Deadlift

A male and female winner will be announced each week, with overall winners announced at the end of the three weeks.

Rules:

Squat

• The contestant’s hip crease must break the knee plane 
• High-bar squats and low-bar squats are both allowed 
• Contestant’s hips, shoulders, and knees must lockout at the top 
• One missed lift allowed
• The attendant will spot the contestant 
• The attendant will adjust the spotter's arms as necessary 

Bench

• The bar must make contact with the contestant’s chest
• The contestant’s shoulders and hips must maintain contact with the bench 
• The contestant’s feet must maintain contact with the floor 
• One missed lift allowed 
• The attendant will spot the contestant 

Deadlift 

• Contestant’s hips, shoulders, and knees must lockout at the top
• Sumo or conventional deadlifts are both allowed 
• One missed lift allowed
