The Best of Seaside

Last weekend I spent a few days in Seaside celebrating my friend’s 22nd birthday! None of us were up for cooking, so we tried a good array of Seaside’s culinary scene. Here are my favorite bites from our trip!

Nigel's Bananas

Nigel’s is my favorite spot in Seaside! They have frozen bananas dipped in chocolate with a bar of all different kinds of toppings. I always top mine off with peanuts, peanut butter, and toasted coconut flakes.  My friend got a “smores” themed banana. All of them are delicious!

Raw and Juicy

This breakfast/lunch spot has bowls, sandwiches, juice, coffee, and more. It is a bit pricey, but so fresh and yummy! What’s even better than the food is the atmosphere. The outside is decorated with lanterns, lights, and beautiful plants. Sometimes you can even catch some outdoor yoga classes.

Pickles

Pickle's is a great spot to enjoy a burger and a shake just a couple of steps from the beach. They have outdoor seating and a bar area in the sand. It’s very casual, no need to even change out of your swimsuit. I recommend their fried pickles!

Old Florida Fish House

A seaside classic. The Old Florida Fish House has great seafood, especially sushi. The outside dining room has a picturesque garden party atmosphere. Inside, they have dueling pianos where you can enjoy live music!

Seaside has got its tourist scene down, so no matter where you go, it will most likely be aesthetically pleasing and delicious. Regardless, I hope you enjoyed my recommendations and try them out next time you pay Seaside a visit!
