Winter in Auburn brings festive lights, cozy gatherings, and plenty of seasonal events to enjoy. From holiday traditions to fun with friends, here are some must-attend events to enjoy winter around Auburn.

Ice Skating at Montgomery Whitewater

Although it may not snow in Alabama, you can still enjoy the winter activity of Ice Skating! Get a group of friends together and visit Montgomery Whitewater. Only an hour away, the ice rink offers 90 minutes of skate time for only $20. The rink is open now until February 16th! To learn more about Ice Skating at Montgomery Whitewater visit their website.


Hey Day Holiday

With a grand kickoff on November 28th, the annual Hey Day Holiday will feature a multitude of events such as Christmas Movie Marathons at 5pm, Christmas Caroling, $15 Ice Skating, and more all throughout the month of December. Basketball in Neville

Nothing is more festive than watching your Auburn Tigers dominate in Neville Arena! View the men's schedule and the women's schedule to see when they play. Completely free for Auburn students, your night will certainly be filled with excitement and joy.

Polar Plunge

Visit the Auburn University Recreation and Wellness center on January 21st from 5-6 p.m. for the annual Polar Plunge event. Jump in the cold pool and then warm up in the hot tub. Sweet treats, coffee, and hot chocolate will also be available. Free beanies to those who jump, while they last! Jump is at 5:15 p.m., with snacks and freebies to follow.
