Now that you’ve got the list, let’s get into the fun part. Here’s a closer look at a few of these must-do activities and why they deserve a spot on your fall schedule.

Get Rec'd

The Rec’s Welcome Week event is something you won’t want to miss. Grab free food, collect tons of giveaways, and meet new people all in one place. With 50+ restaurants and local businesses bringing games, contests, fitness activities, and more, there’s something for everyone. Plus, the first 3,000 attendees score a free t-shirt.

Kick-off on the Plains

On September 12th, the Auburn Tigers take on Southern Miss at home, and if you’ve never experienced a game day on the Plains, this is your moment. The day starts long before kickoff, with campus covered in white tents, the sound of “War Eagle” echoing everywhere, and fans dressed head to toe in orange and blue. As game time approaches, the energy builds to the moment everyone waits for, the eagle flight inside Jordan-Hare Stadium. It's a tradition that never gets old. From there, it’s nonstop excitement, chants, and a crowd unlike any other.

Picnic on Samford

Samford Hall is at the heart of Auburn’s campus, and honestly, it feels like the heart of the Auburn experience, too. On any fall afternoon, the lawn comes to life. If you haven’t spent time there with friends, consider this your sign. Bring a blanket, something to snack on, and just enjoy it. From dogs playing in the grass to families strolling by and students soaking up time together, it’s a snapshot of what makes Auburn so special.

At the end of the day, it's not about checking every item off; it's about taking time to make memories that will last a lifetime. Whether you try something new, revisit a tradition, or just spend more time with friends, fall in Auburn has a way to make every day special.

So save this list, grab your friends, and start checking things off! You'll be glad you did when the semester ends.

Be Well, Auburn.
