Campus Recreation Employees Honored During National Student Employment Week

Jordan Lane (Personal Training), April Heppner (Group Fitness), and Sam Skinner (Group Fitness) to be recognized in the University Career Center's annual Student Employee Awards ceremony as part of National Student Employment Week.

The Student Employment Awards are held in honor of students that have chosen to work while pursuing their education and to recognize outstanding Student Employment supervisors. Each year, nominees are honored and winners are chosen during a special ceremony sponsored by the Office of Career Success.

National Student Employment Week was organized in 1989 by the National Student Employment Association (NSEA) to recognize the invaluable contributions student workers make to our workforce. Student employees provide the support, creativity, and enthusiasm that aids in the operation of our communities and businesses. Colleges and universities across the nation have continued to celebrate National Student Employment Week each year during the second week in April.
